Mac or PC?
What do you think about Dual Boot Computers? (A mac computer that can boot to both Mac and PC with the press of a button.) Raquel
I have heard many good things about MAC OS and by having a dual boot machine that can also run Windows based programs it would only enhance the users experience. Overall, having a dual boot pc would be a benefit that might help make technology even more usuable.
The only reason there is dual boot is because there are alot of programs you cannot use on Mac. Leopard is an ok OS but still needs some work. They will soon have Snow Leopard that will fix alot of the problems with the current one. You can get twice the power for less than you would pay for a mac. You can see i am a pc fan ;)
Hi Rogelio, When I started working in my current position, I was a PC person. I was a little apprehensive about learning Mac. I now own a dual boot Mac computer and I LOVE IT! I can boot to Mac or PC through the use of one button! I don't need to have two computers available, just one. Yes, you can get twice the power on a PC for less money but also less multimedia software is available to you (iLife Suite, iWork suite, dual boot, iChat, etc.). I guess you can tell I am a Mac fan. I am a new MAC user too. I have not added the dual boot to the system. I have heard that if I install parallels that I can run Windows in a window within the MAC OS.
If you install parallels, you will be able to run Mac OS and Windows OS at the same time. It works pretty good and it is almost seamless. This is from the research i did over the summer so I might be wrong. I was considering getting a mac this summer over a PC. PC won this time.... maybe next time ;)

I agree with you Luis, you do get the benefit of having more access to more technology in just one computer - not two.

I am not very familiar with parallels but, from what I've read it will allow you to be able to run both Mac and PC on the same unit.
