The Educational Purpose of my blog is to allow students, teachers, and anyone else to be able to communicate with other similar users and have the ability to start their own blogs and/or post comments about technology/educational projects, tools, technology software, technology ideas, new technologies, and personal views about technology in the educational field.

Platforms
Which Platform do you prefer? Why? Mac or PC Raquel
I prefer PC. Mac does have some good programs, like garage band but but I like the customazation PC allows. If i want to upgrade my HD space, i can go to the store and purchase a 500gig HD for about 100 dollars and put it in my PC quick. Try that with yoru Imac... oh wait you cant. There are other reason but Mac is over rated ;)
Hi Rogelio, You do make a good point but, from the educational point of view I prefer Mac. Mac offers lots of great software that allows students to create their own movies, music, books, etc. Don't get me wrong I still use and like PC but, I feel that Macs offer a lot more variety of powerful programs for the students. (my personal opinion) Raquel
I personally prefer PC. I am not familiar with Mac's at all. Back in 99/2000 when I started taking tech courses, I heard from a friend that if you went to a store to look for software, you would find thousands of titles for PC, and only one aisle for Mac. I think even though Mac is a more stable platform, they missed the boat and now PC took over. Color me a PC fan or as the commercial says "im a pc and im also a human being"
Luis, I disagree with you. Mac is really staying up there on software. Have you not seen all the Mac commercials :o) They are funny! I guess I'm just a Mac fan. Both platforms have come a long way and there is now more software out there for both. Raquel
