The Educational Purpose of my blog is to allow students, teachers, and anyone else to be able to communicate with other similar users and have the ability to start their own blogs and/or post comments about technology/educational projects, tools, technology software, technology ideas, new technologies, and personal views about technology in the educational field.
I think that depends on the project and the amount of development time you want to put into the project. Another consideration is the cost of the software versus the ROI (return on investment).
In the case of an educational consulting company it makes more sense to own a copy of Camtasia or Captivate and produce customized learning modules.
These learning objects can then be marketed and sold to clients where the JING products are available on the web and not proprietary to the client.
Jing is a wonderful FREE tool for educational use. I think it is a real asset to educators.
I agree with you Whitney. Captivate will give you the liberty of creating a more professional end product. Jing, is also a quick and easy way for educators to create a quick lesson. Plus, it is free and if you are low on funds or the school has no budget left for software, Jing is the way to go. Raquel

Though Captivate might have alot of features that make for a professional streamlined product, ultimately for quick results, it is best to use Jing. The fact that it is also a free product makes it more enticing to educators.
You are right Luis. Anything that says "FREE" is more enticing for educators. I guess if they have never seen Captivate then Jing will be awesome for them! Raquel
